Hi, I’m Tori — mum of two, wife to a pilot, and firm believer that life (and travel!) doesn’t stop when you have kids. After countless rounds of IVF and years of dreaming about our family, I knew that once we finally had our children, we weren’t going to give up exploring the world — no matter how many people told us it would be “too hard.”
Our first long-haul adventure was to the Dominican Republic when our son was just three months old, and while travel definitely looks a little different now, it’s still every bit as incredible. Sure, holidays with kids involve a bit more planning (and a few extra snacks), but honestly — would you rather listen to the moaning at home, or on a beach where there’s a kids’ club and a cocktail with your name on it?
I started A to Z Family Travels as a space to document our adventures and share honest, practical advice for families who still want to see the world — just with smaller travel companions in tow. As our children have grown, our hotel searches have become all about finding the perfect balance: kids’ pools and entertainment for them, easy nap spots, good food options, and a glass of wine in peace once they’re asleep.
On this blog, you’ll find destination reviews, honest hotel insights, and tried-and-tested tips for stress-free family travel. I hope our journeys as a family of four help inspire and guide other parents to plan trips that work for everyone — whether that’s a beach escape, a city break, or something a little more adventurous.
We’re on a mission to keep exploring, one kid-friendly trip at a time. 🌍
